Raubex Building recognises the need for Economic Development in South Africa and realises it is an evolving and fluid issue.

We have created a specific focus within all our projects dedicated to this need under the banner of Human Capital. Our Human Capital Programme plans to achieve broad based participation by local EME’s, QSE’s and women-owned enterprises, which forms part of the overall concept of preferential procurement, skills development and job creation.

THIS PLAN WILL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

ABILITY TO EARN AN INCOME

To enhance the ability of workers to earn an income, either through their labour market or through entrepreneurial activities and direct participation.

WORK
EXPERIENCE

To provide unemployed people with work experience, that will create a
positive and confident environment in a community.

TRAINING AND SKILLS
DEVELOPMENT

To provide education, on-the-job training and skill development programmes to workers.

THE OBJECTIVE OF OUR CSI POLICY IS TO:

  • Commitment to contribute to Socio-Economic Development.
  • Addressing local social issues through a wide range of projects, to uplift and develop local communities.
  • Set up processes and procedures through which Raubex can identify, manage, and support its CSI activities.
  • Raubex Building believes that social and environmental stewardship, sustainable development, and value creation for shareholders are complementary goals.
